Greetings my name is Angelica Wentworth, im a scientist, and you can also say meteorologist!After watching the movie twister, I’m impressed from the tornadoes, the actors, and basically all the scientific work that has been in it! This firm is basically about a little girl named Djo, who lost her dad by a tornado! She was really bad at all the tornadoes, so she decided when she would grow up she would be a meteorologist, or, a “storm chaser”! And that’s what happened! Djo became a “storm chaser” with other really good meteorologist that their goal is to find out how to warn people that a tornado is coming 15 minutes before, rather than 3 seconds! There’s also Billy, which you can say, the lead meteorologist of that team, like Djo! Billy used you quit from that team, but now he came back, not to get started with what he use to do… but to get Djo sign some pages so he can leave that job! Djo didn’t want to sign these papers because she didn’t want Billy to leave them! Afterwards, Djo decided to show Billy that she finally made the invention that both thought so they can throw some small balls, and make those balls fly so they can study the tornado from the inside and then they can know much earlier when a tornado is coming! This smart machine was called “Dorothy”!
I really liked this film because it showed basically more about what I study and see! This film gives an idea of how a tornado forms, and it really shows you! It shows you what weather the tornado usually forms! A tornado
forms by usually the air and the wind… or it may follow after a thunderstorm! Its just a swirling center of low air pressure an it forms! An area of rotation, 2-6 miles wide, now extends through much of the storm. Most strong and violent tornadoes form within this area of strong rotation. Cold air and warm air combine, and the cold air go down as the warm air rises. So that’s basically how a tornado forms and brings tragic to everyone around! I believe twister was made to give as an idea of how tornado form, and were do you have to go for safety, and what will happen if you don’t follow these! The characters, the houses, all these give you an image of what brings a thunderstorm... which usually brings a tornado! That’s why I’m so impressed from this movie... because i also see tornadoes, thunderstorms an other, everyday of my life...
